BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On this edition of Riding Shotgun, Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey and Corporal Linda Mclaughlin patrol the Cocoa area of Brevard County.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey and Cpl. Mclaughlin, or ‘Sissy’ as her colleagues call her, respond to three calls.

The first involves a male teenager that ends with Cpl. Mclaughlin giving the youth advice on how not to become involved in the criminal justice system at an early age.

The next call involved a traffic stop where the taillights on a pickup truck did not work. However, once stopped, the lights began to work properly and the driver was subsequently allowed to go on his way without incident.

The last call involved an arrest.
