BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This past week members of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit arrested Ashley Walsh who was the Fugitive of the Week on last week’s episode of “Wheel of Fugitive.”

Walsh was arrested after Agents conducted surveillance on numerous addresses that Walsh had been known to frequent. As a result, Fugitive Agents took Walsh into custody at an apartment complex in Melbourne without incident.

At the time of her arrest, Walsh advised our Agents that she was on the telephone with a friend on Tuesday night when her friend said “Wow Ashely you’re on the “Wheel of Fugitive!”

In addition, Walsh received several phone calls throughout the day from friends who actually sent her the video of the “Wheel of Fugitive” episode.

Walsh was transported to the Brevard County Jail for Failure to Appear regarding Early Resolution for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance, 2 Counts of Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Contempt Violation of Community Supervision and Violation of Community Supervision. Walsh had a total bond of $15,000.

So the moral of this story is…if you are a fugitive and you get a telephone call that says “Wow you are on “Wheel of Fugitive” start looking out the window because our Fugitive Agents are probably waiting outside to take you to your new home.

Or, you could just do the right thing and go turn yourself in long before that when you know you have a warrant for your arrest, so you can get your life back on the right track!

Another great job by our Fugitive Unit at making sure Brevard County is a safe place to call home!
