 Brevard County beaches are flying red flag warnings for beachgoers on Wednesday due to dangerous surf and potential rip currents.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County beaches are flying red flag warnings for beachgoers on Wednesday due to dangerous surf and potential rip currents.

The dangerous currents are a result from Hurricane Florence ready to impact the Mid-Atlantic states on Friday.

Officials strongly urge people to use caution if visiting the beaches and swim near a lifeguard.
