BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – In support of its mission to advance community health, Brevard Health Alliance will open a Pediatric Urgent Care center later this year in Melbourne adjoining its current comprehensive healthcare facility, located at 2120 Sarno Road.

Brevard Health Alliance’s Pediatric Urgent Care center will be open six days a week with extended hours in the evenings. It will be staffed by board-certified doctors who will treat pediatric illnesses and injuries including common infections, abrasions and lacerations, asthma and allergies, and sports injuries.

The pediatric urgent care center will also provide onsite X-ray, laboratory, infusion, and pharmacy services. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 3 to 11 pm and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“The need for pediatric urgent care services in our county was too essential to ignore,” said Lisa Gurri, Brevard Health Alliance Chief Executive Officer.

“Every parent wants the best care for their children when they’re sick or injured. Our Pediatric Urgent Care center will feature highly-qualified pediatric professionals in one place for parents who may need to seek care for their children after normal business hours.”

Pediatrician Lizabeth Saint-Hilaire, MD, will care for infants to teens at the center. She brings a depth of expertise in the field of pediatrics to best address the unique needs of children through every stage of development.
