Melbourne Police are investigating a shooting that occurred between two vehicles Thursday afternoon on Dairy Rd., north of Florida Ave.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are investigating a shooting that occurred between two vehicles Thursday afternoon on Dairy Rd., north of Florida Ave.

Investigators say the multiple shots were fired and both vehicles fled the area around 1:42 p.m.

Police have been unable to locate any suspects or victims from the incident at this time.

No injuries have been reported from the shooting.

Investigators are looking for several suspects in two of the vehicles involved in the shooting. The first vehicle is a silver sedan (Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla). The second vehicle is a white SUV, possibly an older early 2000 Kia, according to police.

According to Lt. Shawn Eising, the incident remains under investigation by police.
