NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, FLORIDA – The Coast Guard Cutter Valiant crew returned home to awaiting family and friends Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at Naval Station Mayport, Florida.

The Valiant crew returned to their homeport after a month and a half long counter-drug patrol in the Caribbean Sea.

The crew patrolled the Windward Passage, the Leeward Islands and through the Ile de la Tortue Channel during Christmas, New Year’s Day and the entirety of the government shutdown.
