SPACE COAST DAILY TV: The Florida Prep Falcons girls basketball team hosts Miami Country Day Spartans, the No. 4 ranked team in the country. Alan Zlotorzynski is on the call.

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers host the Centennial Eagles in a boys varsity basketball game. The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson, Lisa Nicholas and Caleb Brown have the call.

The Friday Night Locker Room and Space Coast Daily will feature three high school basketball games Saturday on Space Coast Daily TV.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Friday Night Locker Room and Space Coast Daily will feature three high school basketball games Saturday on Space Coast Daily TV.

The first game tips off at 2:30 p.m. as the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustler girls team, led by head coach Candace Terry,  host the West Shore Wildcats led by head coach Derrick Hamilton.

The Hustlers come in with a mark of 11-5 while the Wildcats enter today’s game 3-10. MCC is 21-1 all-time against West Shore.

The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and Lisa Nicholas will be on the call.

The second game starts at 4 p.m. and showcases the No.1 ranked girls basketball team in the state of Florida, according to MaxPreps.

The 15-1 Miami Country Day Spartans travel to face the Florida Prep Falcons, who are 9-8 on the season.

However, don’t let the record fool you. Led by head coach EJ Murray, the Falcons blew out the defending Class 2A state champs by 32-points on Friday night and four of their losses came in the prestigious Nike Tournament Of Champions.

Ranked No. 6 in the country, Miami Country Day head coach Ochiel Swaby has over 300 career wins and last March his team won their fifth straight FHSAA Girls Basketball State Championship.

Space Coast Daily’s Alan Zlotorzynski will be on the call at Florida Prep.

Wrapping up the triple-header will be the MCC’s boys team hosting the Centennial Eagles from Port St. Lucie. Led by head coach and Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer Rob Terry, the Hustlers are 9-6 overall and 2-1 in district play.

Under the guidance of head coach Chris Carannante, the Eagles enter today’s game with a record of  3-9.

Steve and Lisa will also be on the call for this contest.
