Titusville Man Arrested For Citywide Burglary Spree, Charged with Four Felonies

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Police have arrested a Titusville man for grand theft and a vehicle burglary that occurred last week.

Titusville Police say they responded to a report of an in-progress theft on Thursday that lead to the arrest 29-year-old Caleb Benjamin Maseman.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that  witnesses observed the Maseman taking a generator from a residence on Ojibway Ave. around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

When police arrived, Maseman was quickly located by police in a nearby shopping plaza, positively identified as the suspect and placed under arrest.

The generator was returned to the owner, police say.

Detectives conducted an investigative interview, reviewed additional evidence and subsequently determined that the suspect was responsible for the at least one vehicle burglary that occurred on February 1 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Waterside Circle.

Maseman has been charged with four felonies; Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling, Vehicle Burglary with Theft and two counts of Grand Theft.

Maseman is being held at the Brevard County Jail with a $24,000 bond.
