REPLAY: First Uncrewed Test Flight of SpaceX Crew Dragon Lifts Off From Kennedy Space Center

(NASA) – Liftoff of the SpaceX Falcon 9 for Demo-1, the first flight test of the company’s Crew Dragon spacecraft, was a success Saturday morning from historic Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The rocket lifted off at 2:49 a.m. EST.
The Demo-1 mission, SpaceX’s inaugural flight with NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, will provide the teams an end-to-end flight test to ensure the spacecraft and systems operate as designed before launching with astronauts.
