BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Deputy Tyler Habart and his K-9 partner “Rosco” were recently on patrol when “Rosco” suggested that Tyler conduct a traffic stop on a nearby vehicle.

Of course, once the vehicle was stopped, “Rosco” had to do all the work because Deputy Habart is pretty much useless when it comes to sniffing drugs in cars.

Thankfully though “Rosco” is extremely skilled at it and was able to alert on the vehicle which ultimately led to the seizure of Oxycodone, Xanax, Cannabis and two guns, one of which was stolen during a burglary in Melbourne.

Both of the vehicle’s occupants were convicted felons and each was in possession of one of the guns.

Both subjects were transported to the Brevard County Jail where they were held on numerous charges associated with the incident.

Please join me in thanking “Rosco” for doing such a great job in keeping our citizens safe and in thanking Deputy Habart for driving “Rosco” around the county so he can make arrests!
