City of Palm Bay interim Deputy City Manager Andy Anderson, above, has submitted his resignation to City Manager Lisa Morrell, which will be effective September 13. Anderson said in his letter that would seek government or private-sector opportunities.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – City of Palm Bay interim Deputy City Manager Andy Anderson has submitted his resignation to City Manager Lisa Morrell, which will be effective September 13. 

A former Brevard County Commissioner 2008 to 2016, Andersen is also currently the City of Palm Bay’s Economic Development and External Affairs Director.

Anderson said in his resignation letter that he would seek out of area government or private-sector opportunities.

The deputy city manager position has an annual salary range of $85,194 to $128,322, with an assigned pay grade AP in the City’s pay plan.

According to a City of Palm Bay, Anderson’s current salary is $91,857 and a grade of AJ.

Anderson previously held the position of interim deputy city manager following the departure of former Deputy City Manager Tom Michaud. He served then in that capacity until Bill Curry was hired.
