BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – John Wells of Titusville recently celebrated his 50th anniversary in the employment of the Ron Norris auto dealerships, which has spanned three generations in north Brevard County.
Wells began working for Ron Norris Sr. in 1969 and is now the parts manager of Ron Norris Honda – and recently celebrated an incredible 50 years working for all three generations of ownership.
Working for 50 years at the same place is an extraordinary accomplishment as Well’s anniversary corresponds with another remarkable 50th anniversary which began just across the Indian River at Kennedy Space Center – Apollo 11 and the landing of men on the moon.
Well’s first day of work came in June 1969, just weeks before Neil Armstong walked on the moon on July 20, 1969.
During an interview with Space Coast Daily’s Jordan Rocco, Wells said that he is proud to have been associated with the owners and the many colleagues he has had over the years.
The Ron Norris auto dealerships were first established in 1966 by Ron Norris Sr. and was later taken over by his son Ron Norris, Jr., who began working with his father in 1970.
After Ron Jr. passed away in January 2018, his son Josh took over the management of the dealerships which now includes Ford, Honda, Buick and GMC.
