BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit have arrested last week’s “Fishing For Fugitives®️” Catch of the Day, Sherri Bailey, who was wanted on two felony warrants for Violation of Probation reference Grand Theft.

Bailey’s arrest was subsequent to our Agents receiving a tip from a citizen after she was identified as the Catch of the Day. While following up on the initial tip, Agents were able to identify an additional place Bailey might be hiding to avoid arrest in Cocoa. Agents responded to the area, located Bailey and took her into custody without incident.

Now brace yourself for the shocker…Bailey’s first words upon seeing our Agents were, “I was going to turn myself in today.”

Bailey admitted to knowing she had two active felony warrants for her arrest and also to knowing that she had been named the Catch of the Day on last week’s fishing episode.

Just on the outside chance that Bailey was not being truthful about turning herself in, our Agents gave her a brand new pair of bracelets to wear and transported her to the Brevard County Jail where she was held on a “No Bond” Status.

Another great job by our citizens and our Fugitive Agents who partner together everyday to get criminals off our streets and behind bars where they belong!
