Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Warns Citizens of Increased Traffic Enforcement on I-95

ABOVE VIDEO: Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey warned citizens on Monday that the BCSO Motor Unit will be patrolling I-95 today.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey warned citizens on Monday that the BCSO Motor Unit will be conducting increased traffic enforcement on I-95.

As of  July 1, law enforcement officers can now pull over Florida drivers and ticket them for texting while driving.

It is now a primary offense to text from a moving vehicle; this includes emailing and other forms of typing on a mobile device.
