BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I was honored along with several members of our agency to take part in the “Walk To End Alzheimer’s” event that took place at Cocoa Riverfront Park on Saturday morning.

The annual event brings together hundreds of family members, caretakers, volunteers and business leaders who are all working together to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s.

While each person there has a personal story or reason for being at the walk, collectively they have one goal…to one day just simply be able to sit and talk with the first survivor of this dreaded disease.

The event not only helps raise awareness of the resources that are available for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s but also to raise funds to help one day find a cure.

While I was honored to emcee the event I want to personally thank all of the volunteers and vendors who made yesterday’s “Walk To End Alzheimer’s” possible.

The team does an amazing job at hosting this event each year and I believe that together we will one day find a cure!
