BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Department is saddened to announce that one of their four legged heroes, Timber, was laid to rest. Timber was a 13-year-old German Shephard and was dual trained for patrol activities and narcotics detection.

Detective Pimentel and Timber worked together as a team for 6 years. Their teamwork played an important role in locating many criminals and sniffing out illegal narcotics during their time together on the road.

Timber retired in May of 2015 where he was able to spend time with his partner Oscar, Mona and his best friend Murphy (Timber’s pet mini donkey).

Rest in peace Timber, thank you for your service buddy.
