BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne police arrested Rachel J. Meadows, 39, and charged her with Solicitation to Commit Prostitution.

Melbourne Police Lt. Scott Mostert said that the arrest was made Thursday evening at Riverview Park in the U.S. 1 corridor between Prospect Avenue and University Boulevard.

“In an ongoing effort to combat prostitution activity in the area of U.S. 1 between Prospect Ave. and University Boulevard, the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit conducted an operation targeting prostitution activity,” said Lt. Mostert.
