Brevard County Man Sentenced To Four Life Sentences For Sex Crimes Against Children

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County courtroom has sentenced 26-year-old Jamal A. Davis to four life sentences for sex crimes against children.

Davis was found guilty by a jury on 21 charges related to sex crimes against children.

On May 28, 2019, the Palm Bay Police Department received a complaint that an adult male, later identified as Jamal A. Davis, solicited a female to allow him to have a sexual encounter with her juvenile child.

The woman reported the incident to the police and detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation.

The result of the investigation produced evidence of criminal acts to include, the Production of Child Pornography, Sexual Battery of a Minor, Use of Child in Sexual Performance, and many more offenses, according to police.

Davis was immediately taken into custody on several counts of sex crimes against children.

During an interview with police, Davis confessed he had a fetish for minors and liked using electronic devices to record himself as he sexually molested children.

“Special Victim’s Unit Detectives Hilda Benedith, Jennifer Graves, Reed Caswell, and Matthew Boggess were instrumental in the successful investigation and prosecution of this case,” said a spokesperson with the Palm Bay Police Department.
