BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Institute of Technology’s Department of Residence Life is holding its annual Treat or Treat Halloween event from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.

Treat or Treat will feature five themed haunted houses for a variety of ages, including one where guests can do actual trick-or-treating. There will also be bounce houses and other inflatables, activity booths from campus groups, community vendors, and cotton candy and lots of other sweet treats.

Treat or Treat is free and open to the public. The event will take place in the university’s Panther Plaza and Residence Quad off Country Club Road in Melbourne. It is hosted by Student Life and orchestrated by Florida Tech’s 55 resident assistants and five resident directors. Over 200 student volunteers will assist.

Five residence halls will feature walk-through haunted house experiences with movie themes. Some are scarier than others, and all will have dark areas, loud noises and theatrical effects.
