BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA– Florida Tech men’s soccer keeper Jason Fesquet has been named the final Sunshine State Conference men’s soccer defensive player of the week.

This is the second time the Panthers has been bestowed this honor in 2019.

Fesquet was a brick wall against No. 2 Lynn as he stopped seven shots and held the Fighting Knights scoreless for only the second time this season and handed them their first loss.

Jason and the rest of the Crimson and Gray will be back in action Thursday, Nov. 14, welcome the victor of the SSC quarterfinal match between Florida Southern and Palm Beach Atlantic.

This match is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
