BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit arrested 22-year-old Terrance Skinner Jr. for first-degree Premeditated Murder and Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon.
The case began yesterday at approximately 6:20 p.m. when BCSO Communications Center received a call regarding a male who had been shot in the front yard.
When deputies arrived on scene and located the victim, where he was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Agents subsequently began their investigation and determined that Skinner and the victim, Xavier Carroll, had gotten into a verbal altercation that ultimately escalated to the point that Skinner pulled out a gun and shot Carroll multiple times.
Skinner was located at the scene, placed under arrest without incident, and transported to the Brevard County Jail, where he was held on a no-bond status.
Agents believe this case to be an isolated incident.
