BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will look to make it three straight wins on Friday afternoon at Bruce Bochy Field.

The Titans, who are 2-2 on the season, will host Polk State College at 4 p.m. on the Melbourne campus of Eastern Florida State College.

Sophomore Darien Smith is scheduled to make his second start of the season on Friday. The Jacksonville, Florida native struck out four and did not allow a run in three innings of work against St. Johns River State College last week.

After four games the Titans lead Region 8 in strikeouts with 55 and are second in strikeouts per nine innings at 14.56.

Offensively the duo of Tyler Isenberg and Alejandro Rodriguez are both hitting .400 while Connor Leary is hitting .357.

Polk State College comes into the game 1-2 on the season and has lost two in a row.
