BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Thursday, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Deputy/FTO Kristopher Matthews arrested this past week’s “Fugitive of the Week” Jennifer King during a traffic stop on a vehicle that was being driven by an associate of King’s.

As Field Training Officer (FTO) Matthews conducted the traffic stop, King, who was a passenger in the vehicle stated, “well, I’m going to jail”.

When FTO Matthews inquired as to why she had made the statement, King advised, “because I was on the Wheel of Fugitive!!”

FTO Matthews verified that King had an active warrant and subsequently took King into custody without incident.

King was transported to the Brevard County Jail where she was held on a “No Bond” status on two felony warrants for Violation of Probation reference Two Counts of Uttering Forged Check and Grand Theft and Violation of Probation reference 3 Counts of Criminal Use of Personal ID and Grand Theft.

While we appreciate King being honest about her appearance on the “Wheel of Fugitive” we would have much preferred she did the right thing by immediately turning herself in, rather than waiting on our team to find her!!

So again the moral of the story is…if you see yourself on “Wheel of Fugitive®️,” go turn yourself in at the Brevard County Jail because you are going there sooner or later no matter what!!

Great Job FTO Matthews!
