BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Crews last week demolished Portside Galley Restaurant, part of the Portside Office Complex on Port property at 101 George King Boulevard, to make way for new construction.

The 19,000-square-foot office building was slated for demolition after sustaining hurricane damage.

Portside Galley Restaurant had been a landmark eatery at Port Canaveral for many years.

The hearty breakfast and lunch menu featured American classic comfort foods such as biscuits and gravy, short stacks, country fried steak and eggs and much more.
