BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard weather on Thursday calls for a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85.
The forecast also calls for a windy day, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10 p.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Low around 62. Windy, with a south wind 15 to 25 mph becoming west southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Friday: Chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 a.m, then a slight chance of showers between 10 a.m and 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Windy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
