BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The City of Rockledge held its 12th annual Arts and Crafts Show this weekend at its new Civic Hub on Barton Boulevard in Rockledge.
“There are a bunch of different artisans and vendors here from food products to artwork to wind chimes to a snow cone with a hamster wheel, it’s just been a lot of fun and the kids have enjoyed it as well,” said City Manager Brenda Fettrow.
The show previously was staged on Barton Boulevard was moved this year to the Civic Hub.
“This venue has been designed to host this event and so the vendors are thrilled. We’ve had a packed house, a lot of people here and it’s just very conducive to the flow of traffic,” Fettrow said.
Vendors came from outside the state to participate in the event, noted Britta Kellner, the city’s redevelopment coordinator.
“My new favorite saying is it’s great to be Rockledge. This is probably one of the best events I’ve ever seen. For us it’s thrilling to have vendors come and stay with us from all over the southeastern United States, to have all different sorts of talent here making a show for our residents, having live music which we’ve never done before at this event. It’s just fabulous.
