UPDATE: 20-Year-Old Cocoa Man Dies After Motorcycle vs Vehicle Crash In Cocoa

Florida Highway Patrol is currently on the scene of deadly crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at Cox Road and Fisherman’s Place in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of deadly crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at Cox Road and Fisherman’s Place in Cocoa.

Troopers say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene around 12 p.m.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 20-year-old Joshua Carver from Cocoa.

According to Florida Highway Patrol’s investigation, Carver was headed northbound on Cox Rd. when a southbound Chevrolet SUV attempted to make a left turn across Cox Rd. and head east on Fisherman’s Place.

Carver crashed into the vehicle and died at the scene, according to state troopers.

The driver of the SUV has been identified as 74-year-old Robert Jones from Cocoa. He was not injured in the crash.

Charges are pending against Jones as a result of the investigation.
