BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The room was filled with energy, laughter, heartfelt conversations, and moments of reflection as women from different walks of life gathered at Pearl of Viera for Wealth and Health in Women-an event designed to remind every woman that true success is achieved when health, purpose, and financial confidence grow together.

Hosted in Melbourne, Florida, the gathering welcomed 34 women who came seeking knowledge, encouragement, and meaningful connections. They left with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a supportive community committed to helping one another thrive. Guided by the belief that “Iron sharpens iron,” the event created a space where women empowered women through education, shared experiences, and authentic collaboration.

“Wealth and Health in Women was created because every woman deserves the opportunity to care for herself in every aspect of life,” said organizer MariVic Gillooley. “When women are empowered physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially, they become stronger leaders in their homes, workplaces, and communities.”

The day unfolded as a journey through the essential pillars of holistic wellness.

The celebration of physical health began with movement, joy, and encouragement as Donielle Rouse, owner of Live 2 Dance Studio, reminded participants that fitness doesn’t have to be intimidating. Her message was simple yet powerful: Just move. Through dance, attendees discovered that taking care of their bodies can be both enjoyable and sustainable.

That energy continued as Pinky Stewart and Lina Shina of Aloha Hula of Brevard shared the beauty of hula dancing, demonstrating how movement can also become a celebration of culture, confidence, and self-expression.

Bringing balance to the morning, Suzanne Elliott of Yoga on the Island guided participants through a restorative yoga session, encouraging them to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves amid life’s daily demands.

Wellness extended beyond movement as certified nutritionist Marsha Wooley equipped attendees with practical strategies for healthier eating. Her presentation emphasized that lasting transformation often begins with small, intentional choices made every day.

Recognizing that true health also includes emotional well-being, counselor Erica Graber led an inspiring discussion on mental health, encouraging women to prioritize self-care, seek support without hesitation, and embrace resilience through life’s challenges.

The focus then shifted inward as Bulaine Molme shared a message on spiritual health, reminding participants that faith, hope, and purpose provide strength during both seasons of growth and adversity.

Completing the holistic approach, MariVic Gillooley presented on financial wellness, helping attendees understand that financial education is an important form of self-care. As a licensed financial professional serving clients in 25 states, Gillooley has helped make financial education accessible nationwide through a network of more than 600 offices across the United States and Canada. Her mission is to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions that create lasting security and peace of mind.

The afternoon became especially moving as personal stories illustrated the life-changing impact of preparation and education.

Sherell Teah shared her personal testimony about the importance of planning ahead before a health crisis occurs, showing how thoughtful financial preparation can protect families during life’s unexpected challenges.

Anita Booker followed with her own story of discovering financial education and finding purpose in helping others build greater confidence with their finances. Her journey reminded attendees that knowledge becomes even more meaningful when it is shared.

By the end of the event, every participant had connected with speakers and resources addressing different areas of personal well-being. Many began conversations with presenters to continue their wellness journeys beyond the event, while others expressed a desire to bring the program to their own communities.

The enthusiasm generated throughout the day reinforced the growing need for conversations that address the whole woman-not only her physical health, but also her emotional resilience, spiritual growth, and financial future.

“Wealth and Health in Women” continues to expand its mission of empowering women through education and collaboration. Organizers are already planning future events in response to requests from attendees who want to see the program reach more cities and communities.

As women walked out of the venue carrying new knowledge, new friendships, and renewed purpose, one message echoed throughout the day: when women invest in themselves and lift one another up, they create stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter future for generations to come.
