SPACE COAST DAILY TV: In the latest edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” Steve Wilson talks with Jenny Pruett of Cocoa Beach. Pruett founded the non-profit “I Am A Freedom Fighter,” which raises funds and awareness for human trafficking.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Jenny Pruett, owner of Juice-N-Java Cafe on Cocoa Beach, originally from Wyoming, is a long way from home but we on the Space Coast are glad she’s here.
If that’s not enough to keep her busy, she also founded the non-profit “I Am A Freedom Fighter.”
I Am A Freedom Fighter’s primary focus is to bring awareness and to help fight human trafficking.
According to the United Nations International Labour Organization, there are over four million victims of sex-trafficking globally.
The United States ranks Number 1, slightly ahead of Mexico and the Philippines in human trafficking.
Some of the ways Pruett’s organization helps is through the sale of merchandise at Juice-N-Java; and coordinating mountain hikes, which raise money and awareness.
