BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County on Thursday calls for partly sunny, with a high near 89.

The forecast also calls for windy, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

On Thursday night, showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South wind 10 to 15 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 87. Windy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%.

Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 40%.
