Patricia Lea Hammond, Registered Nurse of Melbourne, Florida passed away April 27, 2020. She was 92. She was a highly respected medical professional and a loyal trusted friend and mentor who touched many lives with her kindness, compassion, advice, and counsel.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Patricia Lea Hammond, Registered Nurse of Melbourne, Florida passed away April 27, 2020. She was 92.

Pat was born April 22, 1928, in Portland, ME and graduated from Brighton High School in Boston, MA in 1946. She received her certification as a Registered Nurse in 1949 from Massachusetts Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

A lifelong caregiver, Pat was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was a highly respected medical professional and a loyal trusted friend and mentor who touched many lives with her kindness, compassion, advice, and counsel.

A gifted and excellent cook, Pat was also passionate about animals, particularly horses, wolves, and her beloved Doberman, Brandy.
