BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a vehicle Saturday afternoon near N. Atlantic Avenue and Escambia Lane in Cocoa Beach.

According to the Cocoa Beach police, at about 3:30 p.m. Christopher Peacock, 49, of Merritt Island, attempted to make a left turn in a 2015 Chevy Camaro from N. Atlantic Avenue onto Escambia Lane when he collided with a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

“The 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was driven by Philip Glazier, 61, of Satellite Beach, who was traveling southbound on N. Atlantic Avenue,” said Cocoa Beach police officials.

Glazier was flown to Holmes Regional Medical Center where his current medical condition is unknown.

According to the police, Peacock was not injured.

Cocoa Beach Police is still actively investigating this incident and asks anyone who may have information related to this crash to contact the Cocoa Beach Police Department at 321-868-3251.
