BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Board of County Commissioners held a Special Meeting on 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, to discuss Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES Act) funds that have been allocated as part of the County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting agenda included discussion on CARES Act funding for Economic Support Programs, and also discussion related to the potential for a face covering or a face mask policy, following a recent upward trend in positive coronavirus tests in the county.

The meeting was held with public comments from the Board of County Commissioners Chambers on the first floor and County Commissioners meeting in the Florida Room on the third floor of the Viera Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera, 32940.
