BREVARD COVID-19 UPDATE: Space Coast Reports 545 Coronavirus Cases, 15 Deaths

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County has reported 545 cases of COVID-19 as of Sunday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 58 years of age, and 48 percent are male and 52 percent are female.
The current Brevard list includes 534 Florida residents and 11 non-residents.
Brevard COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 77. Fifteen deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County.

The Florida Department of Health reports 29,991 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to Sunday’s report, 28,823 of those tests have come back negative.
The Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 75,568 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state out of 1,409,992 tests done statewide with 11,942 hospitalized.
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 2,931 as of Sunday.
In the U.S., over 2,093,335 million confirmed cases have been reported and 115,721 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 7,887,221 with 432,632 global deaths.
