Cocoa Beach Police Investigating String of Vehicle Burglaries Near 4th Street

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police have recently received several reports of unlocked vehicles burglarized in the neighborhoods off of S. 4th Street in the overnight hours on Monday.

“One vehicle was stolen when the suspects found the key/fob inside but was subsequently recovered outside of Cocoa Beach,” said Cocoa Beach police in a released statement.

Cocoa Beach police officials advise citizens to remember to always lock your vehicle doors, remove valuables and key fobs, and hide items of value from plain view.

The investigation is ongoing.
