Police in Titusville are investigating a frightening shooting incident that happened Sunday night after multiple gun shots were fired into a large crowd of people at Parrish Park near A. Max Brewer Bridge Memorial Pkwy.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Police in Titusville are investigating a frightening shooting incident that happened Sunday night after multiple gun shots were fired into a large crowd of people at Parrish Park near A. Max Brewer Bridge Memorial Pkwy.

Officers say the investigation began around 7:30 p.m. when multiple gunshots were fired from a suspect on the beach, who was wearing a life vest.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male with short-dreads hair style.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in a grey four-door vehicle.

No injuries were reported from the shooting incident.

Detectives are working all leads of this ongoing investigation and are encouraging anyone with information to contact the Titusville Police Department at 321-264-7800 or they can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward by contacting Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
