ORLANDO, FLORIDA – University of Central Florida football recently landed tight end Nathan Boerboom from Virginia. Boerboom just recently publicly announced his commitment to UCF on social media.

Boerboom had more than 10 offers from other colleges including N.C. State, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Temple, and more.

Boerboom is a 6-foot-4 210-pound tight end that is currently ranked as the No.39 overall recruit in the state of Virginia, according to the industry-generated 247sports.com composite rankings

Boerboom still has one more year at Great Bridge High School before he steps foot on UCF football field and describes his early recruiting process as “long and hard” but is excited to announce “that for the next four years I will be a student-athlete at the University of Central Florida.”

Co-offensive coordinator of UCF football Alex Golesh announced in his introductory press conference at UCF that “we’ve got to recruit better there” when it comes to tight-end positions and it is a “huge priority.”

Boerboom thanks all of his coaches in his commitment post saying that they have made him the player and man he is today.

The Knights also received commitments from other tight ends in the 2021 class including Texas running back Cale Sanders, Viera wide receiver Davis Mallinger and Georgia defensive back Ronnie Hamrick.

Despite the recent setbacks this year due to COVID-19, UCF football continues to build and recruit players from the 2021 recruiting class.
