BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a new suspect in a new edition of “Fishing for Fugitives” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey featured his “Catch of the Day” as 47-year-old Evergreen Marvenis Washington.

Washington is wanted for Violation of Drug Offender Probation reference two counts of Resisting an Officer with Violence.

Sheriff Ivey says that Washington is known to be in the “waters of the Cocoa area” and was last “hooked” December 12, 2019.

Washington has no bond.

Anyone who has a tip about Evergreen Marvenis Washington’s whereabouts is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
