SpaceX Could Become Worth $100 Billion, Valuation Has Doubled Since August

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA (FOX BUSINESS) – SpaceX is seeking to raise additional funding to build out its business and could be worth nearly $100 billion, according to a media report.

Business Insider, which first reported the news, said the Elon Musk-led company is seeking a valuation of $92 billion. In August, the company raised $1.9 billion at a valuation of $46 billion, the company’s largest funding round to date.

The news outlet added talks with investors are still at an early stage and may be unable to convince investors its worth has doubled since the summer.

SpaceX has not yet responded to a request for comment from FOX Business.
