(Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) – FWC K9 Officer Diesel passed away unexpectedly, and he is already greatly missed.

“Diesel and his handler, Officer Delatorre, made an amazing team and worked many high-profile cases during his lifetime,” said FWC officials.

“In 2020 alone, this highly trained and skilled K9 located shell casings in a murder investigation and found evidence in a sea turtle egg poaching case, resulting in arrests.”

K9 Officer Diesel was also featured in “Canine Courier” twice last year.
