Man Shot Dead Inside Melbourne Apartment Being Investigated as Homicide, Victim Identified

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are investigating a homicide case after they found Rashod Harris shot dead inside an apartment at the Parkway Place Apartments.
Police officers were called to the Parkway Place Apartments about a disturbance and shooting at one of the apartments. When police arrived on scene, they discovered the victim, Rashod Harris, fatally shot inside the apartment.
Officers located all of the individuals believed to be in the apartment at the time of the shooting incident.
The incident was isolated to a single apartment and appears to be a domestic dispute, according to detectives.
