Palm Bay Police Officer Josh Taylor Wins First Place in ‘Run for Responders 5K’ in Full SWAT Gear

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA VILLAGE, FLORIDA – Members of the Palm Bay Police Department participated in the 2021 Run for Responders 5K in Cocoa Village.

Palm Bay Police Officer Josh Taylor ran the race in his SWAT gear and won first place.

Officer Taylor is a 19-year veteran of the police department, serving 17 of those years on the SWAT team.

Survive First is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist first responders and families who need mental health support from the impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and substance abuse.
