WATCH: Don’t just go to church… be the church. Meet Pete Masciave, or “Mosh” as his friends call him, who is the pastor of Be Church, a new and innovative church located in West Melbourne on Florida’s Space Coast.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Don’t just go to church…be the church. Meet Pete Masciave, or “Mosh” as his friends call him, who is the pastor of Be Church, a new and innovative church located in West Melbourne on Florida’s Space Coast.

“We aren’t meant to just go to church, we are meant to BE the church,” said Masciave.

“A church that serves the needs of the community, reaches the lost for Christ and equips people to walk in their faith. We believe that diversity is the color of heaven, and a church should reflect that. We are a place to Beloved, Belong, and Believe.”

Masciave is Lead Pastor and originally from upstate New York, moved to North Carolina in 1997, and recently moved to Florida to start Be Church.

His background includes military service, business, teaching and ministry. He has a passion to build relationships, develop leaders, and grow disciples.

Co-Pastor Lisa Masciave is also originally from upstate New York, moved to North Carolina in 2005, and recently moved to Florida to co-pastor Be Church with Pete Masciave. Her background is military service, counseling, and ministry.

Her passion is to meet the needs of the community and serve behind the scenes.
