BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Chain Gang started to work this week on operation “Clean Sweep,” which is designed to keep all of our beautiful Brevard County roadways clean from trash and debris.

Operation “Clean Sweep” started Monday at the county line on State Road 520 and worked east toward the City of Cocoa.

Once that roadway is completed, the team will head to the Pineda Causeway area and then continue throughout the county making certain that all of our roadways are representative of the beautiful community we are so proud of.

While the incredible team and volunteers of “Keep Brevard Beautiful” do an amazing job at keeping our community clean, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Chain Gang is actively involved in cleaning our roadways while also working on a significant number of projects throughout the county that save taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.
