Suntree Ladies Golf Association ‘Sham-ROCKIN’ Charity Golf Tourney Raises $12,000 for Promise In Brevard

BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – The 2021 Sham-ROCKIN Charity Golf Tournament held by the Suntree Ladies Golf Association (SLGA) at the Suntree Country Club took place March 16 and donated the proceeds of $12,00 to Promise In Brevard.
The tournament, which is held close to St. Patrick’s Day each year, is a full morning of fun games, activities, and golf challenges followed by a luncheon at Suntree Country Club.
This year’s sponsors included Hedrick Brothers Construction, BRPH, Omni Financial Services, Suntree CBD, Intercoastal Insurance, and many of the golfing groups at Suntree Country Club.
Every year the Suntree Ladies Golf Association holds a fundraising golf tournament to raise money for a local Brevard County charity.
Located in West Melbourne, Florida, the Promise in Brevard affordable housing community is enhanced by Promise’s Life Enrichment Program, which incorporates a variety of programs and services that seek to provide a fulfilling life for each of its residents.
Money raised by the Suntree Ladies Golf Association will help sponsor scholarships to the Life Enrichment Program which will directly affect the residents in Promise In Brevard.
