Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Identifies Woman Found Dead on Schoolhouse Lane in Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified 35-year-old Alicia Campitelli as the female who was found dead Saturday morning on Merritt Island.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation began when Deputies responded to an apartment on Schoolhouse Lane at approximately 11:15 a.m. Saturday after a call was received saying Campitelli of Merritt Island appeared to be deceased.

Upon arrival, deputies located Campitelli inside the residence where she was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing as agents continue to conduct interviews and examine evidence from the scene. Based on the information thus far obtained it appears that this was an isolated incident.

No arrests have been made at this time. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
