BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This week is recognized as “National Correctional Officers” week and I could not be more proud of our team for everything they do to keep our community safe while representing our agency with pride and professionalism.

Serving as a member of a Correction’s Team is one of the most dangerous and demanding jobs in our profession.

Our team not only works to keep the Brevard County Jail secure, but also to maintain the health and well-being of those held within while they await their day in court or serve out their sentences.

From working to maintain order inside the facility to working to rehabilitate the inmates in our custody, Correctional Officers are vital to our criminal justice system and the safety of our community!!

Please join me in thanking our entire Correction’s Team for their dedication, commitment and professionalism as they work each and every day to make our agency shine!!
