BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Hawks baseball team secured its fifth district championship in program history after a 9-4 victory against New Smyrna Beach.

Hurler Liam Samuels pitched an exceptional game and also added two RBI’s to his stat sheet as well.

Viera’s Luke Campbell went 2-4 at-bat and finished with 3 RBI’s in the game.

The Hawks are set to host St. Cloud next Friday in the first round of the FHSAA Class 6A quarterfinals.
