WATCH: Former Rockledge Raider and current Arkansas running back Raheim Sanders is listed as a top newcomer to watch in 2021.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Former Rockledge Raider and current Arkansas running back Raheim Sanders is listed as a top newcomer to watch in 2021.

Raheim “Rocket” Sanders is an impressive-looking addition at 6-2, 220 pounds. 247Sports rated him a four-star prospect, the No. 164 overall recruits in the nation and the. No. 19 prospects in Florida.

He was listed as an ‘athlete,’ but he was recruited to Arkansas to play wide receiver. However, seeing a need for more size at running back the Razorbacks decided to move him into the backfield.

In the spring, there were a few goof-ups with things like timing at the mesh point, and he’ll have to improve in pass pro like all freshman running backs, but this guy can flat out run, brings power to the running back room and you know he can catch it out of the backfield, too. He could have a really bright future in Fayetteville.
