BPS District Library Media Resource Teacher Trish Ely Wins FAME Administrators Advocacy Award

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools’ Trish Ely was honored as the winner of the Florida Association for Media in Education 2021 Administrator Advocacy Award.

Ely was nominated for this recognition by Tricia Kuhblank, Missy Slack, Beth Wareham and Lori Kessel.

This award recognizes a district administrator, director, superintendent, or supervisor who has made dynamic and significant contributions to the promotion or effective school library media programs and services.

It recognizes the significance of the role of the district administrator in developing successful school library media programs within their own school district that impacts the community at large.

The award is intended to highlight and encourage administrative support of school libraries, which is central to the FAME mission.

Ely will be recognized during the 48th Annual FAME Conference, which will be held at the Ocean Center Daytona Beach December 1-3.
